About Kawato
We hope to create opportunities for people to discover their "will to live" and "true self" in nature.
And so that people's lives can continue in this area forever...
We want to foster connections between people and nature.
With that in mind,
We named our initiative “Kawato”, after the gentle sound of the river that flows through this place we love.
The name "Kawato" is written as "Kawa no Oto" in Japanese Kanji that means “the sound of the flowing river” .
We look forward to meeting you amid the comfortable, serene nature and flowing time of Hiroshima.
自然の中で “生きる力” や “自分らしさ” を見つけるきっかけをつくりたいと願っています。
そして、いつまでもこの地で人々の暮らしが続いていくように――
人と自然とのつながりを育んでいきたいと思います。
その想いを込めて
この地を流れる大好きな川の音を、取り組みの名前にしました。
「川の音」と書いて「かわと」と読みます。
広島の心地よく穏やかな自然と流れる時間の中で、お会いしましょう。

米国系経営コンサルティング会社や化学会社の経営企画部を経て、長野県の日本アルプスや八ヶ岳連峰で登山ガイドとして活動後、広島県にUターンしました。郷里の自然をご案内いたします。
After working as a consultant for a US management consulting firm and in the corporate planning department of a chemical company, I worked as a mountaineering guide in the Japanese Alps and the Yatsugatake mountain range in Nagano Prefecture before returning to my hometown Hiroshima Prefecture.
I will be showing you the natural beauty of my hometown, Hiroshima, Japan.
